How do I count the days between two dates?
Pick a start date and an end date and the calculator instantly shows the total number of days between them, plus a breakdown in years, months, and days. There is no button to press — the result updates as you change either date.
What does "include the last day" do?
When checked (the default), the final day is counted, so the period is inclusive — useful for things like hotel nights or rental days. Unchecked, it counts only the days strictly between the two dates. The years/months/days breakdown always reflects the exclusive span and is not affected by this toggle.
Can I count how many days are left until a future date?
Yes. Put today as the start date and the future date as the end date, and the total-days figure is your countdown. If you enter the dates in the wrong order, the calculator still returns a positive count and notes that the dates were reversed.
